Stevenage kept in touch with the Conference play-off race with a 4-1 demolition of a dire Northwich side.
The visitors had failed to win in any of their nine games so far this season and there was no hope they would buck the trend here, as Stevenage began in dominant fashion.
Home captain Jason Goodliffe signalled their intent when, inside the first minute, he flashed a header just wide of the post.
Anthony Elding and Jermaine Hunter both went close, before Hunter put the home side ahead on 17 minutes when he beat keeper Andy Ralph to a one-on-one chase and slotted the ball home.
Elding then went on to hit the post as Stevenage bombarded the Northwich goal, before finally grabbing their second on the stroke of half-time when George Boyd smashed the ball home after a goalmouth scramble.
Northwich's best period of the game came just after the break and they earned a penalty after a handball from Justin Gregory.
Front man Mark Quayle could only force a fine save from home keeper Andy Woodman and, within ten minutes, the game was over as Hunter headed in at the near post, following a neat cross from Boyd, to make it 3-0.
Mark Devlin did pull one back from the visitors after 72 minutes but Stevenage had the final say. Boyd was again involved as he flicked a header over keeper Ralph to allow Elding to smash the ball home into an empty net seven minutes from time.
