Scarborough's resurgence under new boss Neil Redfearn continued as they were unlucky to miss out on all three points against high-flying Stevenage.
Two weeks ago Scarborough were bottom of the pile and heading towards the Conference North, but Redfearn has certainly pulled his club up by its bootstraps.
He said: "It is getting to the point when the lads are gutted when we draw against a side like Stevenage. And rightly so, because on the day we were by far the better side."
Scarborough started the game brightly and they were unlucky not to go ahead when Stevenage keeper Alan Julian tipped a Tony Hackworth effort over the bar.
It was the hosts that created the better openings with both Ashley Lyth and Mark Quayle grazing the bar.
So it was no surprise that they took the lead a minute before the break, when Lee Fowler's corner was powered home at the far post by Kevin Nicholson.
After the interval Stevenage boss Graham Westley went all out in a bid to grab a share of the spoils, pushing four players into attack.
The move finally paid off in the closing stages when the impressive George Boyd's shot was deflected home by substitute Anthony Elding.
In the dying minutes Scarborough almost reclaimed their lead when Michael Coulson picked out Tony Hackworth inside the box.
The tall striker got his shot away at the second attempt but the effort rolled the wrong side of Julian's upright.
