Doughty back for Boro
Michael Doughty is back in contention for Stevenage's home game against Crewe.
QPR loanee Doughty has shaken off the knock which forced him to miss the weekend FA Cup defeat by Everton and returned to training on Monday.
Fellow midfielder Dean Parrett returned from a knee injury as a sub in the 4-0 loss on Saturday evening so he could start.
Boss Graham Westley has no new injury concerns following the weekend and has trimmed his squad by sending James Dunne on loan to St Johnstone and Oumare Tounkara to Grimsby.
Crewe are hopeful Harry Davis can overcome a knock and feature against Boro.
The defender has been complaining of soreness in his knee following the 1-0 defeat to Tranmere on Saturday but will train on Monday with the Railwaymen keeping their fingers crossed over his availability.
Steve Davis' squad will otherwise look very similar to the one which suffered the reverse against Rovers, while both loanee Uche Ikpeazu (ankle) and Mathias Pogba (knee) are now considered fully-fit to start should the boss elect to use either striker.
The Alex will still be without forward Vadaine Oliver (hip), teenage midfielder Ryan Colclough (stomach), striker Max Clayton (ankle) and defender George Ray (ankle) but Ollie Turton (knee) is back in full training.
