Holroyd, on-loan from Brighton, missed the impressive FA Cup first-round replay win over MK Dons after Seagulls boss Gus Poyet refused him permission to play.
Chris Beardsley returned to the starting line-up in his place against the Dons after recovering from the shoulder injury that has disrupted his season.
Westley will have to decide whether he is fit enough to partner Holroyd in attack or whether Charlie Griffin or Ben May get the nod.
Ronnie Henry missed out against the Dons due to illness but he could make a recovery in time to take his usual slot at right-back. If he fails to recover, Lawrie Wilson is likely to continue at full-back with David Bridges and Stacy Long continuing in midfield.
Lee Boylan (calf) and Darren Murphy (ankle) are long-term absentees.
