Chris Zebroski opened the scoring for the Gulls with a placed shot after Billy Kee's 20-yard effort rebounded in the 13th minute. Kee then wrapped up the win with a dazzling strike from distance that flew past Matt Glennon and into the net with 18 minutes remaining.
Speaking after the match, Buckle said: "I am delighted with the way we played, they were extreme weather conditions but we played them very well.
"We could have won by more goals. I thought their keeper was outstanding, with some of the saves that he made.
"I was delighted with the players - with and without the ball we looked good and we have kept a clean sheet.
"We are working with the players that we have got and that's where we are as a club - and I am proud of the boys and we have put another three points on the board."
